CHIZMAXX: MISS ITALY 2010 CONTESTANT DISQUALIFIED FOR BEING A “TRANSSEXUAL”!

CHIZMAXX – A contestant in Miss Italy pageant cried after she was disqualified by the judges due to her “transsexual” issue.

Alessia Mancini, Candidate #53, was accused of being a transsexual by some reporters, which was not proven by the competition judges. But to be able to stop the controversy, the judges disqualified the 24-year-old beauty from Lazio in the final round of the competition.

She cried in the live telecast of the said pageant.

Also, Mancini did not received enough votes due to the “transsexual” issue. Pageant observers credited her as one of Miss Italy 2010 top competitors. But due to lack of enough votes, she lost in the “final two”.

Meanwhile, Mancini stressed that the issue is only a black propaganda against her. Even the local media proved that she is indeed a 100% woman.

The Miss Italy 2010 edition was won by 19-year-old Francesca Testasecca.

CHIZMAXX: AMERICAN IDOL FINALIST ADAM LAMBERT FACES BATTERY ALLEGATIONS!

CHIZMAXX – A paparazzo accused the Former American Idol contestant Adam Lambert of battery.

A police report says 38-year-old Victor Eras was taking pictures of the singer Thursday when Lambert started running toward him “in an aggressive manner.”

Eras claimed that Lambert grabbed his back pack and wrestled him to the ground. The photographer did not suffer any injuries. He declined to comment to The Associated Press on Friday.

No arrests were made. A police spokesman says there will not be an investigation. The state attorney’s office will review the report and decide if any charges will be filed. TMZ first reported the alleged attack.

Lambert’s publicist did not immediately return a call seeking comment.

CHIZMAXX: CYPRIOT SINGER MIHALIS HATZIGIANNIS MAKING WAVES WITH HIS FIRST ENGLISH SELF-TITLED ALBUM!

CHIZMAXX – On August 13, 2010, the famous Cypriot singer and songwritter Mihalis Hatzigiannis released his brand new English album “Mihalis” by Universal Music in Germany.

“Mihalis”, whose making waves in both Greek and English charts as of this writing,  is the very first English album of the Cypriot artist but the eleventh one overall studio albums. The album contains twelve songs, and a bonus song (Kiss on the breeze) which is available exclusively from the iTunes store. Seven songs of the albums are English English translations of his past Greek hits.

Mihalis Hatzigiannis already represented Cyprus at the 1998 Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Genesis” ending 11th. He’s also named as the World’s Handsomest Man in 2006.

CHIZMAXX: MISS UNIVERSE 2010 4TH RUNNER-UP VENUS RAJ, ADOPTED DAUGHTER OF MANILA!

Raj, who was raised in Bicol Region, is now the adopted daughter of Manila, Philippines' capital city

CHIZMAXX – Miss Universe 2010 4th Runner-Up Maria Venus Raj is now an adopted daughter of Manila.

As reported by GMA News, the Manila government passed a resolution principally co-authored by councilors Josie Sicar and Nino dela Cruz that declared so.

Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim along with other city officials and councilors, welcomed Raj last Sept. 14 when she paid a courtesy visit. The beauty queen from Bicol was welcomed by former Miss International Gemma Cruz-Araneta, Tourism and Cultural Affairs Bureau head; Renato dela Cruz, city legal officer lawyer; and Ric de Guzman, Lim’s chief of staff and media bureau chief.

During the presentation of the resolution, the Manila government officials, headed by Lim, presented Raj with a key to the city.

Lim, who was visibly proud of Raj’s achievements, declared, “For the hearts of many Filipinos, Raj is our Miss Universe.”

PAGEANT UPDATES: MISS KAZAKHSTAN 2010 OFFICIAL RESULTS!

Zhanna Zhumaliyeva, 23, of Uralsk was crowned Miss Kazakhstan 2010 at the finale held on September 18th in the capital city of Almaty.

The student and model who stands 1.79 m tall, will represent Kazakhstan at the Miss World 2010 pageant to be held in Sanya, China, on October 30th.

PAGEANT UPDATES: MISS MONGOLIA (INTERNATIONAL) 2010 OFFICIAL RESULTS!

Winners of the country’s biggest beauty pageant were announced before a select gathering in Ulaanbaatar on Sunday, where the coveted title of Miss Mongolia-2010 went to local 17-year old girl B. Badamtsetseg.

The “Miss Mongolia” Association and “Shilmel Zagvar” Agency organized a seventh annual beauty contest called “Miss Mongolia-2010” in the State Academic Drama Theater in UB on September 12, 2010.

Judges had chosen 21 of the original over 200 gorgeous competitors for the title in the final evening. The winner Badamtsetseg, who is well-liked by a role of Gerlee in the Mongolian serial movie called “Khetsuu Angi” or “Difficult Class”, awarded with cash prize of MNT2 million. Then, she will compete for Mongolia in the “Miss International” beauty contest, which will be held in Shanghai.

Another participant T.Battsetseg took second place in the beauty competition entitled “Miss Mongolia-2010” also.

G.Lkhagvasuren honored “Miss Model” crown, B.Monkhzul was grabbed crown of “Miss Photo”, T.Tuyamaa rewarded also crown “Miss Talent” and B.Borgoljin received crown of “Miss Knowledge” separately.

Then, these runners-up will compete also for Mongolia in beauty competitions entitled “Miss intercontinental”, “Asian super model”, “Miss Tourism Queen-International”, and “Miss Global City-International” soon.

As well as, E.Altanzul was selected a winner of “Aero Mongolia Miss” and rewarded by the prize named after sponsor.

PAGEANT UPDATES: MISS WORLD PORTUGAL 2010 IS CATARINA ARAGONEZ!

Twenty-two year-old Catarina Aragonez was crowned Miss Mundo Portugal 2010 at the finale held last night September 18th at the Teatro Camões concert hall in Lisbon. She will represent her country in Miss World 2010 pageant to be held in Sanya, China this October.

The first runner-up is Tania Costa while the second runner-up is Sara Silveira.

Miss Photogenic is Joana Viegas while Miss Congeniality went to Melanie Vicente.

PAGEANT UPDATES: ANOTHER STUNNER WAS BORN! EMMA WALDRON ELECTED AS MISS IRELAND 2010!

Emma Britt Waldron was crowned Miss Ireland 2010 in Dublin on September 18th. She will represent Ireland in Miss World 2010, in Sanya, China, on October 30th.

Natasha Shafai and Laura Scanlon finished second and third, respectively.

The last Miss World titleholder from Ireland was Rosanna Davidson, way back in 2003.

PAGEANT UPDATES: MISS PERU IS MISS CONTINENTE AMERICANO 2010!

Finally!

Giuliana Cevallos, Miss Peru, was crowned Miss American Continent 2010 last Saturday, September 18th, in Ecuador. Miss Mexico was the 1st runner-up, and Miss Brazil the 2nd runner-up. The other finalists were the candidates from Colombia, the Dominican Republic, and Venezuela. Eighteen lovely girls from the Americas competed.

Cevallos, noted as a pageant veteran, also won the “Most Beautiful Face” award. Meanwhile, Miss Canada was named “Miss Photogenic”, and Miss Brazil was voted by the contestants themselves “Miss Congeniality”.

Cevallos, who was labeled as a “scene-stealer”, was previously competed in Miss Universe 2010, in Las Vegas. She also competed in Miss Earth 2008. She was unplaced on both competitions.

PAGEANT UPDATES: KENYAN IMMIGRANT TO REPRESENT NORWAY AT THE MISS EARTH 2010 PAGEANT!

Iman Kerigo, 18, (center) was crowned as Miss Earth Norway 2010 in a pageant held on September 18th. The 1.68 m. tall beauty will represent Norway in Miss Earth 2010 in Vietnam on November.

Kerigo’s parents were Kenyan immigrants.

The first runner up was Marion Dybvik.
