CARDINAL BITCH’S POWERHOUSE OF BEAUTY

Starting this year 2008, Cardinal Bitch now presents THE POWERHOUSE OF BEAUTY, a title given to a country who remarkably participated in any Big 5 Pageants namely: Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss Earth, Miss International, and Miss Tourism Queen International. Now these 5 big pageants have swiftly passed by, so this is the time to show off every country’s performances in beauty pageants.

RANKING PROCEDURE:

1. Every country that take participation at any Big 5 Pageants shall be eligible for performance ranking. Only applicable to 5 major female pageants like Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss Earth, Miss International, and Miss Tourism Queen International.

2. Every rankings and final placements in any 5 major pageants is accompanied by respective points:

Titleholder – 20 points

1st Runner-up – 16 points

2nd Runner-up – 14 points

3rd Runner-up – 12 points

4th Runner-up – 10 points

Finalist – 5 points

Semi-Finalist – 3 points

Miss Photogenic – 1 point

3. In case of termination, voluntary resignation, or other possible reasons of dethronement, the points will automatically deducted to country’s points of the said titleholder.

4. Every succeding pageant, Cardinal Bitch tallies the scores/ points to countries who have placements.

5. Powerhouse results is final and non-changeable.

WHY COLOMBIA?

COLOMBIA produces, not beauty queens for this year, but a lot of runners-up and finalists. Examples are Taliana Vargas and Maria Cristina Diaz-Granados, both 1st runners-up in Miss Universe and Miss International respectively. Mariana Rodriguez landed as one of the 8 finalists in Miss Earth. By looking at the past, Colombia also did the same, producing runners-up especially in Miss Universe. The reason why Colombia failed to take any crown is PUBLICITY. This country is also infamously known for drug trafficking, FARC invasion, and wide corruption. Also, the pageant organizers of Colombia is not that effective although their contestants are competitive. Lastly, Colombia is overthrown by popularity against Venezuela, their neighbor country.
